A former gang leader and an action leader who assaulted a junior and left him unconscious have been sentenced to probation for not coming to the store he opened.

The 11th Criminal Division of the Ulsan District Court (Chief Judge Park Hyun-bae) sentenced person A in his 60s to 3 years in prison and 4 years of probation, and Mr. B to 1 year and 6 months in prison and 2 years of probation, respectively. It was announced yesterday (6th).

Mr. A, who served as the head of a gangster in Ulsan, and Mr. B, the action leader and friend, were put on trial for assaulting Mr. C, a junior in his 60s, at a bar in Nam-gu, Ulsan, in March 2020.

It was investigated that they were angry and assaulted by Mr. C, who never came to the store opened by Mr. B, and was angry with people who were not on good terms with them.

Mr. C was badly beaten, bleeding from the head and subsequently lost consciousness.

Separately, A and two people per day were tried together on charges of not repaying the victim D after deceiving him by saying, “I’m running an apartment housing association business, and I will pay it back when money comes out.”

The court said, “The quality of the crime is not good considering that the victim, C, is still unconscious. We took that into consideration,” he said, explaining the reason for the sentencing.
