Duchess Catherine shows her engagement ring from a new perspective

The latest video on the Instagram account of Duchess Catherine, 40, and Prince William, 39, is anything but ordinary. Because here the Duchess builds the flag of Denmark from Lego bricks.

However, if you can take your eyes off her Lego artwork for a moment, you will surely have noticed Kate’s ring. On her left hand, Prince William’s wife wears her engagement ring, which once belonged to Lady Diana († 31). The blue sapphire in the middle is surrounded by many small diamonds. According to jewelry experts, the heirloom should be worth around 450,000 euros. In the video you can see the piece of jewelry up close – what a bling!

Queen Mathilde demonstrates fashion sensitivity in Oman

Queen Mathilde, 49, and King Philippe, 61, are on a three-day trip to Oman. A journey where there are also a few things to consider when it comes to fashion. Since the people in Oman usually wear floor-length dresses, guests should not walk around too revealingly. Out of respect, knees and shoulders should be covered as much as possible. For the arrival in Muscat, Mathilde therefore chooses a midi dress by the Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. Palm prints and ornaments can be seen on the dress, which can also be found in the mask. In addition, the Belgian queen combines red pumps and a colour-coordinated clutch. A stylish start to the journey that makes you curious about other looks.

Princess Mary in a stylish velvet suit

Princess Mary, 49, is more in demand than ever as she approaches her 50th birthday on February 5, 2022. After two glamorous shootings and new gala portraits, another big interview for the “Financial Times” follows. In an interview, Prince Frederik’s wife, 53, reflects on her role and duties in one of the oldest monarchies in the world. The pictures for the portrait of the princess were taken by photographer Hasse Nielsen at Amalienborg Palace and show the 49-year-old in an elegant purple velvet suit. Male royals like Prince William, 39, have wowed in velvet looks in the past, but the material also looks incredibly elegant on Mary. In a casual pose, she sits on a table in front of a strikingly designed wall.

Too exaggerated? Nina Flohr with an expensive designer robe at a birthday party

We mostly know lavish glamor looks from the royals at official events. Nina Flohr, 35, the newly wedded wife of Prince Philippos of Greece, 35, made herself particularly chic for Tom Naylor-Leyland’s 40th birthday party. In a dress by Maison Valentino from the Resort 2022 collection, which costs around 8,000 euros, she presents an unusually luxurious look for a party. She’s in good company though, as designer Emilia Wickstead, 38, and model Poppy Delevingne, 35, have also opted for gorgeous dresses. It almost seems like this was a black tie party where the dress code dictates elegant evening attire. In terms of color, Nina is right on trend with her dress, because light shades of green have been an integral part of the fashion scene for a year now.

New portraits of Mary couldn’t be more glamorous

Princess Mary’s 50th birthday is fast approaching. On February 5th, this will be celebrated with a series of events. The palace has published new portraits of the crown prince couple in advance. While Prince Frederik, 53, can be seen in a uniform, Mary wears a glittery dream in light blue in the new pictures. The glamorous robe was created by designer Lasse Spangenberg.

A week earlier, Princess Mary had the honor of being on the cover of Australia’s Women’s Weekly magazine. Although she wears the same dress as in the new gala portraits, the styling couldn’t be more different. While on the cover she wears her hair down and only adorns her hair with a butterfly clip, the official portraits are much more formal. A two-tone floral tiara adorns her head, while Mary wears matching diamond earrings on her ears – a dreamy fairytale princess look.
