Professor Kyung-shim Jung, hospitalized after collapsed trial

It has been found that Dongyang University professor Jeong Kyung-shim, who has been arrested and indicted on charges of corruption in the entrance examination of his children, is being hospitalized.

According to the Ministry of Justice and Prof. Jeong’s side, Professor Jung collapsed and was transferred to the hospital after a trial held at the Seoul Central District Court on the 24th (the 24th) on charges of corruption in the child’s entrance exam.

Since then, it is known that Professor Jung was diagnosed with a concussion at the hospital.

It is reported that family visits are impossible because visits to the detention center are restricted due to the corona quarantine rules. It was decided not to accept the PC in the lecture room of Dongyang University lecturer and Kim Kyung-rok, the wealth manager, and the PC in the study room of the former minister of Cho Kuk as evidence, saying it is not legal.

The prosecution filed an objection to this, saying that the court misunderstood the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Previously, Professor Jeong was indicted on 15 counts, including obstruction of business, use of forged documents, and violation of the Capital Market Act, and was sentenced to four years in prison in the first and second trial.

Professor Jeong and the prosecution both appealed against the judgment of the appeals court.
