Princess Märtha Louise sends an important message on the day of Ari Behn’s death
Christmas Day marked the second anniversary of the death of Ari Behn. The ex-husband of Princess Märtha Louise, 50, and father of their three daughters Maud Angelica, 18, Leah Isadora, 16, and Emma Tallulah, 13, had committed suicide on December 25, 2019 at the age of 47. Two years later, Märtha Louise is now sharing an important message with around 180,000 followers.
A selfie shows her in a flowered jacket beaming in front of a pile of wrapped presents. A decorated Christmas tree can be seen in the background. “I wish you all a wonderful, peaceful and happy Christmas”, the 50-year-old writes and appeals to her community: “Remember that you are valuable and lovable. Whoever you are and whatever you feel, you are important . “

The Dutch Christmas card surprises with a “brazen” detail
Well, the Dutch royals have made it really easy for themselves: The motif of this year’s Christmas card is from Queen Máxima, 50, and King Willem-Alexander, 54, together with their three daughters Princess Ariane, 14, Princess Alexia, 16, and Crown Princess Amalia, 18, it seems, was admitted back in May. If you take a closer look at the family’s clothes, you will notice that they were already wearing these outfits at the celebrations for Queen Máxima’s 50th birthday on May 12, 2021 at the Carre Theater.
“When we’re dressed so festively …”, the five apparently thought to themselves and posed for a photo that now adorns their Christmas card. Practical! The only difference to that time: the dogs that are in the photo.

Princess Amalia: She thanks for all the birthday wishes with a sweet photo
Princess Amalia celebrated her 18th birthday on December 7, 2021. This was connected with a small scandal, as more guests than allowed were present at their party. But apparently many people felt the need to congratulate the heir to the Dutch throne. And for that, Amalia thanks you now.
On the official Instagram account of the Dutch palace, she posts a picture in which she literally sinks into a sea of birthday mail. “In the last few weeks I have been showered with congratulations and birthday cards. That made me very happy. I would like to thank everyone for that!”, Wrote the 18-year-old.
Christmas greetings from the Greek royals
Christmas Eve is just around the corner. After the British royals as well as the Swedish royal family and also the Monegasque published their annual Christmas card, the Greek royals are now following suit. Princess Marie-Chantal, 53, has published a video on her official Instagram account that shows the greeting card in all its glory.
The front of the simple card is adorned with the family coat of arms. The simple design continues when it is opened: Marie-Chantal of Greece and Prince Pavlos, 54, and their five children Princess Maria-Olympia, 25, Prince Konstantinos-Alexios, 23, Prince Achileas-Andreas, 21, Prince Odysseas-Kimon, 17, and Prince Aristidis-Stavros, 13, to the addressees: “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” In addition, the royals show a previously unseen family photo. One thing stands out: In recent years, the royals have opted for photos that portrayed their entire family. This year, Princess Marie-Chantal and Prince Pavlos chose a recording that was limited to a small circle. The family was last seen at the wedding of Prince Philippos of Greece, 35, and Nina Flohr, 34, in Athens.
Princess Delphine gets a documentary series on TV
Princess Delphine, 53, is getting her own documentary series on television. The illegitimate daughter of King Albert of Belgium, 87, and Sybille de Selys Longchamps, 80, won the princess title last year. Now your life is being filmed. “In the three-part series ‘Delphine: My Story’, Princess Delphine von Sachsen-Coburg tells her fascinating life story herself (from Wednesday, January 12, 2022),” says the website of the station “VRT”.
As the daily newspaper “Het Laatste Nieuws” reports, the 53-year-old will tell her own story for the first time, talk about her life phases and emotions. She also opens her private photo album. Her partner Jim O’Hare, her mother and journalist Mario Danneels will have their say. Her lawyers, employees of the Royal Palace and friends from the art world will also speak about the artist’s extraordinary life.
The Christmas card from the Fürstenhof Monaco has arrived
Little by little the royals from Sweden, England and Co. publish their Christmas cards. Now she’s finally here from Monaco too. But this year’s version is special: It is no ordinary photograph, like the card from last year, for example. Princess Charlène, Prince Albert and the children were drawn in front of an opulently decorated Christmas tree – in bright colors and with embellishments on the edge. “Wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas season, all the best,” writes Charlène on Instagram about the picture.
It is still not clear whether Albert, Charlène and the twins will be spending Christmas as a family of four. The princess has had a difficult year, and her health is still not over the top. The native South African has already missed numerous events and important dates, including the seventh birthday of her twins Jacques and Gabriella. But the family still doesn’t want to do without a Christmas card. A drawn version of the Christmas card brings the four together, at least on paper.
Ekaterina and Ernst August jr. from Hanover are showing Baby Eleanora for the first time
A sweet premiere recently fluttered into the house of friends and admirers of Ernst August Jr., 38, and Ekaterina von Hannover, 35: The couple sent a card with the portrait of their youngest daughter Eleanora as thanks for the congratulations on her birth. Thanks to a Czech fan who posted the cute greeting on Instagram, more details about the couple’s third child are now known.
The little girl was born on July 26th, 2021 and goes by the full name of Eleanora Dina Daniela Alexandra Princess of Hanover. In her first public photo you can see the tiny noblewoman still in the typical sleep mode of a newborn: her eyes closed, her head propped on a little arm. In a few months, however, like her big siblings Elisabeth, 3, and Welf, 2, she will conquer the world at full speed and will probably no longer make it so easy for photographers.

Princess Madeleine + family take on a special Christmas tradition
A few weeks ago it was announced that Princess Madeleine, 39, will be present at the traditional Christmas tree award this year. It was not yet clear at the time whether her children and husband Christopher O’Neill, 47, would accompany them to Sweden.
The most beautiful pictures of the festive family appearance
Now the Swedish palace is preparing a small pre-Christmas present for its fans: Princess Madeleine has traveled to Sweden with her whole family. This is confirmed by the information chief of the court, Margareta Thorgren, of the newspaper “Expressen”. Accordingly, the family, who currently live in Florida, arrived in Sweden on the weekend to receive the Christmas trees from the students at the forestry college on Monday, December 20, 2021. “The princess, Chris O’Neill and the children will be there,” reveals Margareta Thorgren. It is the first time that Madeleine and Chris O’Neill and their children have received the Christmas trees.
