Jeju International Airport’s runway temporarily closed due to heavy snow… Flight cancellations and delays


Due to heavy snow, the runway at Jeju International Airport is temporarily closed, causing disruptions in flight operations.

According to the Jeju Regional Headquarters of Korea Airports Corporation, the runway operation was temporarily suspended from 9:20 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. for snow removal work and slip measurement on the runway at Jeju Airport.

Aircraft take-offs and landings have now resumed, the Airport Corporation said.

Currently, heavy snow warnings, low visibility warnings, and sudden changes in wind warnings are in effect at Jeju Airport, and flight operations are disrupted, including cancellations and delays.
