80 million won fine on 12 delivery platforms for ‘violation of safety measures’


As the number of food delivery platform workers is increasing due to the spread of COVID-19, 12 food delivery platform companies have been fined for failing to properly comply with safety measures under the Occupational Safety and Health Act. The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 26th the results of the inspection of the safety measures required for delivery workers of 17 food delivery platform companies. Platform companies subject to inspection this time are As Idea, Barogo, and Vureung.
