Jae-myung Lee attends the pregnancy policy meeting… Discussion on “expansion of public postpartum care centers”
Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung will attend a policy meeting on postpartum care on the afternoon of the 26th.
Candidate Lee is expected to hear various stories from mothers and related workers who are currently using the postpartum care center at the ‘Please take care of the public postpartum care center’ held by the Democratic Party of Korea in Yeouido.
Candidate Lee is expected to discuss policy improvement directions for systematic postpartum care, including expansion of public postpartum care centers.
During his tenure as mayor of Seongnam, Candidate Lee implemented the public postpartum care center system, which is 70% of the average rate of general postpartum care centers to ease the economic burden of childbirth families.
He also announced that it would be implemented nationwide during the internal party election process.
