Jung Woo-young will continue to accompany the German professional football team Freiburg.
Freiburg announced that they had extended their contract with Jung Woo-young early.
However, they did not disclose specific details, saying, “We mutually agreed not to disclose the details of the contract.”
Jung Woo-young, who joined Germany’s prestigious Bayern Munich in January 2018, mainly played in the second team stage before moving to Freiburg in June 2019.
Initially, he could not find a place in Freiburg and was loaned back to Munich after 7 months.
He has scored 4 goals in 28 official matches for Freiburg during the 2020-2021 season, and has scored 3 goals in 19 matches this season.
