The Seoul Mapo Art Center will reopen as a grand theater with a capacity of 1004 seats. After 16 months of remodeling, the medium-sized complex cultural space ‘Art Hall Mac’ has been transformed into a grand theater. The Mapo Cultural Foundation (CEO Song Je-yong) will hold a year-end concert to commemorate this on the 30th. Mapo Art Center opened in 2008 with 733 seats. Even at that time, it was relatively large for a complex performance hall for a local government.
