Today (the 20th), Monday, will be cloudy throughout the country.

It will rain or snow in the southern part of the metropolitan area and Gangwon, Chungcheong and northern Jeollabuk-do, and northern Gyeongsangbuk-do until morning.

The temperature this morning will be 4 degrees higher than yesterday, with 4 to 6 degrees below zero across the country, including 3 degrees in Seoul, 2 degrees in Daejeon, and 1 degrees in Daegu, and the daytime temperature will be 8 to 14 degrees.

In areas where snow has recently accumulated, there are many slippery roads, and icing may occur in the shaded areas of hills or back roads, so you need to be careful about safety accidents.

On the east coast, the air is very dry, so a dry warning is in effect.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) urged people to take precautions against fires such as wildfires, saying that small sparks could lead to large fires with strong winds blowing in these areas.

In the mountainous areas of Gangwon-do, strong winds of up to 20 m/s blow at an instantaneous wind speed, so it is necessary to pay attention to facility management.

There will be strong winds in most parts of the East Sea.

From night, dense fog with a visibility of less than 200m will form around the metropolitan area, and fog with a visibility of less than 1km will form in other areas as well.

Today’s fine dust is expected to be ‘bad’ in the metropolitan area, Gangwonyeongseo, Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, Daegu, and ‘normal’ in other areas.
