Germany’s Vaccination Commission recommends “Vaccination against COVID-19 for 5-11 years of age with a medical history”
The German Immunization Committee recommends vaccination against COVID-19 for children aged 5 to 11 with a previous medical history.
The committee issued a press release stating that it is the result of analyzing the data so far.
It is also recommended that children with whom they come into close contact are at high risk of severe conversion to COVID-19, but are not vaccinated directly or do not have sufficient immunity.
He also explained that if children, parents, and guardians individually wish, they can receive inoculations after hearing the explanation of the medical staff.
Since September, the German government has expanded the COVID-19 vaccine to all 12-17 year olds.
Germany plans to start full-scale COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 5 years and older.
