The top three grossing movies in North America this weekend were “Charm“, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” and “House of Gucci“repeating the trend seen last week, according to study estimates.
The three movies they are only available in movie theaters.
“Encanto”, an animated film with music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, was the highest grossing with 12.7 million dollars, although it is 53% less than last weekend. Globally has accumulated 116.1 million dollars.
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” came second with 10.4 million. And “House of Gucci” came in third with 6.8 million, being shown in 3,477 theaters for a total of 33.6 million dollars.
Other films that performed well were “Dune” with $ 1.8 million and “Flee,” which was shown in four theaters, with $ 25,033.
