The Justice Party criticized Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, for remarking that ‘a lot of dirty things come out when you fall behind because of my origins’ as “emotional.”
Yeo Yeong-guk, president of the Justice Party, said in a remarks by the National Committee on the 5th, “Lee was a poor boy and came from a low status, and he was emotional.” .
He added that Lee’s remarks were “degrading and blasphemy against citizens who are doing their best to protect their dignity through poverty and hard work, and live honestly.”
Candidate Lee brought up his family history yesterday (the 4th) at a public market in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, and said, “I come from a lowly origin. I am from a lowly family, so if you look around you will find a lot of dirty things.”
Representative Yeo denounced People’s Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol as “the worst presidential candidate in history, who has been accused of all kinds of family abuse and illegality, and at the same time has a shocking outlook on labor and a sense of human rights.”
