Women’s badminton ace Ahn Se-young won the world badminton ‘Wangjung King’, and has risen to the top of the international competition for three weeks in a row since the 21st of last month.
Se-young Ahn won the first championship in the women’s singles final of the World Badminton Federation (BWF) World Tour Final 2021 in Bali, Indonesia, defeating India’s Fusala Sindhu 2-0.
Se-young Ahn, who won the Indonesia Masters on the 21st of last month, gained momentum and climbed to the top of the Indonesian Open, and continued her unstoppable upward trend by winning the World Tour Final, a tournament that wraps up the season.
In the women’s doubles, Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong also defeated Japan’s Matsuyama Nami and Shida Jiaru 2-0 in the final to rise to the top of the tournament.
