Kim Byung-jun “I will work hard as the president of the election… I will not be elected or appointed”

Kim Byung-joon, former chairman of the emergency response committee, who served as the co-chairman of the People’s Power Election Committee, said today (26th), “I plan to work hard as the permanent election chairperson.”

Chairman Kim made the following remarks at a press conference after meeting with presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol at the Yeouido office today.

In particular, he emphasized, “I will not hold any elected or appointed public office.”

It seems that he showed his will to work for the election of presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol without self-interest.

In a recent meeting with Candidate Yoon, he said, “We had a lot of conversations about where our country should go,” he said.

He continued, “I thought I had to help (Yoon Seok-yeol) no matter what I do, so I accepted the position of the standing chairperson, and I plan to work hard.”
