Constitutional Court rejects constitutional complaint that ‘cryptocurrency regulation infringes on equal rights’

The Constitutional Court ruled that the regulation of virtual currency, such as the real-name system for virtual currency transactions announced by the government in 2017, cannot be considered a constitutional complaint. On the 25th, it was dismissed with the opinion of 5 out of 9 judges in the constitutional complaint case. The court shall not judge the claimant’s claim when it does not meet the trial requirements.
