Your opponent is big, red and more powerful than ever: Joko and Klaas challenge an entire broadcaster together. Volker (Bjarne Mädel) is a parcel delivery person, the single father of his 16-year-old son Benny (Nick Julius Schuck) and also a football coach for a youth team. He clearly belongs to the socially underprivileged. The long working days, the miserable pay and the puberty of his son are increasingly pushing Volker to personal limits. Benny’s school leaving certificate is in jeopardy, Volker threatens to lose his driver’s license and the money is often not enough for social participation.

For Micha Oberländer (Matthias Koeberlin) things are not going well privately, he is in the middle of a marriage crisis. After a restless night in his VW bus, he and Hannah Zeiler (Nora Waldstätten) are called to a crime scene. A fisherman discovered a woman’s corpse in his net in Lake Constance. At first glance, it was a tragic bathing accident that quickly turned out to be a violent death. The dead person is identified as the teacher Julia Niermeyer. While searching for clues, Zeiler and Oberländer encounter ten-year-old sleepwalker Noemi Rademann.
