A North Korean hacking group has also been identified as continuing hacking attacks on its allies, Russia, to obtain confidential information, the local daily Komersant reported.
Proofpoint, a US cyber security company, recently published a report that North Korean hacker organization ‘Suki Kim’ is attempting to hack into Russian experts on the Korean Peninsula.
Proofpoint found that Kim Suki was hacking into Russian foreign policy scholars and experts, as well as non-governmental organizations in charge of cooperation with North Korea.
Previously, Komersant reported that Kim Suki attempted several hacking attacks on Russian defense companies using a phishing email method in October of last year.
Kim Soo-ki is known as a hacking organization under the North Korean Reconnaissance General Bureau.
