Human Rights Committee, 31 school principals “need to revise school rules that excessively restrict appearance”

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRCK) has recommended that 31 school principals in Seoul revise school rules that excessively restrict appearance, such as hair and clothing. The Human Rights Commission said on the 23rd, “We must make sure that we do not excessively infringe on the basic rights of students, such as the general right to freedom of action, which are protected by the Constitution.” Among them, the Human Rights Commission of 27 school principals imposed penalty points on the basis of these school rules, or directed and cracked down on them.
