Princess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, appeared during her presence at the Al-Azhar Mosque alongside the Grand Imam, wearing a veil and modest clothes, as she wore a long-sleeved pink blouse, and loose white pants.
Princess Camilla coordinated her clothes with a white veil, and appeared barefoot.
As for Prince Charles, he appeared in a classic formal look, as he wore an off-white suit and coordinated it with a white shirt and a patterned tie, as well as two brown socks, and sunglasses.
This is not the first time that Princess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, wife of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, has worn the hijab while visiting mosques.
In 2016, Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, visited the Emirates, and specifically during their visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, the Duchess appeared wearing a veil and walking without shoes in the hallways of the mosque.
The royal protocol controls the travel of the British royal family outside the United Kingdom, and the fashion they wear, as the royal dress is required to be largely modest and to stay away from short, off-the-shoulder dresses and open from the back, in addition to thin hats on the head, and content with simple accessories of feathers on the hat.
