We need education based on the principle of equality.” Eden, an activist at the Goyang City High School Student Association, said, “The number of students who committed suicide between 2010 and September 2014 was 630. A desperate tragedy is still going on at this moment. I do not want to die after failing the entrance exam, so I stand here and cry out like this.” He argued, “The famous slogan in the education world, ‘I will not give up even a single child’, has now changed to ‘I will take care of only one child’. I appealed to you to join in the change. In the declaration, the youth demanded the removal of the right to select students from schools, the abolition and leveling of high school and college rankings, the complete free university tuition, the prohibition of discrimination based on grades, and the establishment of measures to resolve discrimination based on academic background and academic background.
