Jeollanam-do Naju-seo Fire Department Officer Drunk Driving… Pedestrian hit and killed


The Jeollanam-do Naju Police Station is investigating the arrest of a 59-year-old senior fire officer, Kim Mo, on charges of hitting and killing a pedestrian while driving under the influence.

Kim is suspected of killing a male pedestrian in his 30s who was standing in front of a crosswalk on a road in Songwol-dong, Naju-si, Jeollanam-do at around 6:20 pm yesterday (13th).

At the time of the accident, Kim was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.061%, which is the level of license suspension.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances based on Mr. Kim’s statement that he did not see a pedestrian while driving and a black box video.
