President Moon, today’s APEC video summit… Discussing supply chain issues


President Moon Jae-in will attend the 28th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held by video at 8 pm today (12th).

Under the theme of ‘Corona recovery for the prosperity of all of us and future generations’, this conference will discuss overcoming health crises, accelerating economic recovery, cooperation in climate environment, and sustainable growth plans.

In particular, President Moon plans to focus on the maintenance of the global supply chain and digital transformation issues as a way to speed up the economic recovery after Corona 19.

On the 31st of last month, in Rome, Italy, President Moon attended the global supply chain summit presided over by US President Joe Biden, and it was also interpreted that he was keeping pace with the US-led movement to strengthen the global supply chain.

President Moon also plans to explain South Korea’s contribution to the donor of vaccines to overcome Corona and free aid in the health sector at this meeting.
