‘Nth Room’ Moon Hyung-wook 34 years in prison, ‘Doctor’s Room’ Kang Hoon 15 years confirmed

Hyeong-wook Moon and Hoon Kang, who created and distributed sexual exploitation while operating Telegram ‘Nth Room’ and ‘Doctor’s Room’, were sentenced to 34 and 15 years in prison.

The first part of the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of Hyung-wook Moon, the operator of room n, who had been tried on charges of violating the law on sexual protection for children and adolescents, and confirmed the lower court, which sentenced him to 34 years in prison and 10 years of personal information disclosure.

Hyung-wook Moon, who worked under the name of ‘God God’ in Room n, was accused of having 21 child and adolescent victims film sexually exploited material on 1,275 times from 2017 to last year, then transmitting and distributing it.

It was investigated that Hyung-wook Moon threatened the victims’ parents as if they were distributing sexual exploitation, or coerced with accomplices and forced the victim to sexually assault or perform similar sexual acts.

The first division of the Supreme Court also dismissed the appeal of Kang Hoon, the second person in Telegram’s ‘Dr.

In 2019, Kang Hoon was handed over to trial on charges of producing and selling sexual exploitation videos by threatening 18 victims, including 7 children and adolescents, in collusion with Jo Joo-bin, the main culprit.

Kang Hoon, along with Jo Joo-bin, was additionally indicted in April on charges of threatening female victims and sending nude photos.
