Ministry of Recreation, Stalking Victims Protection Act Legislative Announcement… Out of safety measures

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family announced on the 11th that the ‘Act on the Prevention of Stalking and Protection of Victims’ (hereinafter referred to as the Stalking Victims Protection Act) was enacted. It has been 22 days since the enforcement of the Stalking Punishment Act on the 21st of last month. A separate Stalking Victims Protection Act was prepared in response to the point that the Stalking Punishment Act focused on the ‘punishment’ of the perpetrator and did not include the ‘protection’ of the victim. The bill that was announced on the day of the legislative session will be sent to the state and local governments to avoid stalking.
