This is thanks to the fact that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport prepared a place to verify whether the Korean-style urban air transportation (K-UAM.Urban Air Mobility) can be operated in practice.

What people were most interested in during the demonstration flight was a German drone-type mobility called the Volocopter.

This is because it was a drone, which was driven by a human and flew in the sky.

Since it is a two-seater, it can carry one passenger.

Today’s event did not directly pick up passengers.

After flying about 3 km at an altitude of 50 m, the foreign pilot got off the drone and got on the waiting vehicle.

This is probably a scene that briefly showed the process of in the near future.

In this process, in scenes such as loading and dragging a drone on a wheeled cart, I also thought that a system for ‘the drone landing site and parking and storage’ should be prepared at the same time.

The concept of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is not much different.

After completing the multicopter type and tilt type aircraft for UAM through small and medium-sized companies in Korea and the Aerospace Research Institute, we plan to establish a UAM traffic management service so that the aircraft can operate safely and efficiently.

We are also considering ways to provide ground services such as passenger security screening.
