Seok-Yeol Yoon, looking for Gwangju and Bongha next week… The first itinerary is Garak Market.

People’s Power Presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol will visit the Gwangju National May 18 Democracy Cemetery next week and the Gimhae Bonghama Village, where the tomb of the late former President Roh Moo-hyun is located.

Candidate Yoon will visit Gwangju on a two-day, one-night schedule from the 10th.

In addition to visiting the National May 18 Democracy Cemetery, it is known that various schedules are being coordinated.

Candidate Yoon previously announced that he would visit Gwangju after the election after controversy arose over his so-called ‘supporting Chun Doo-hwan’.

Candidate Yoon’s visit to Gwangju next week is interpreted as an attempt to repeatedly apologize to the citizens of Gwangju for the remarks.

After completing his visit to Gwangju, Candidate Yoon will go to Bonghama Village in Gimhae on the 11th to pay a visit to the grave of former President Roh.

It is interpreted as a move to target the progressives and middle-class voters ahead of the general election.

Candidate Yoon’s first official schedule as a presidential candidate for the People’s Power is a visit to the Songpa Garak Market in Seoul tomorrow morning.

At a press conference after today’s national convention, Candidate Yoon answered the question about the first place to visit, saying, “It is the right thing to visit the people who are doing difficult things and are in difficult situations.”

After that, Candidate Yoon has lunch together with People’s Power Representative Lee Jun-seok at a restaurant in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and it is expected that the composition of the predecessor committee will be discussed.

Afterwards, we will attend the ‘Korea Youth Day’ held at the Olympic Park Peace Plaza in Songpa-gu, Seoul and meet with young people.

Candidate Yoon will pay a visit to the Seoul National Cemetery in Dongjak-gu, Seoul on the 8th.
